On this week's episode of Story Cast, Rebecca & Traci chat with Deanda Frost. Deanda and her husband, Tim, host living room events where they combine music and story telling to share their story of firsthand survival. If this is your first time listening to an episode of Story Cast or you have been a faithful listener with us all along, today's episode is one you won't want to miss!
What a blessing it was to sit next to Deanda as she shared her story with us. We are so grateful for her transparency and authenticity as she opens up about her and her family's stories of survival.
Deanda is a wife, mom, musician and has a passion for mentoring young girls and women who have been lured into the world of human trafficking and the sex industry.
Deanda walks us through how she met her husband, Tim, their beautiful life with their special needs son and their latest adventure.
Tim recently wrote a book titled "The Family Portrait: A Journey of Hope Through the Eyes of the Fatherless." Tim began writing down his story beginning with his first memory at the age of three in a dirty trailer house where many unspeakables happened. These are the memories that had been buried deep and purposely, because no one wants to remember, especially tell, anyone about being abused.
Tim and Deanda share their life stories through music and storytelling in what they call, Living Room Events.
